Sustainability at Zip Adventure Parks

At Zip Adventure Parks, sustainability is a natural part of how we plan, build, and operate our parks. We aim to make nature experiences accessible in a safe, enjoyable, and responsible way while protecting nature, people, and the communities where we operate.

We work long term to develop our operations and participate in the Responsible Tourism Programme in collaboration with Visit Umeå, Region Västerbotten, and other destinations.

Nature and environment

  • courses built without damaging trees or ground

  • annual tree inspections

  • low resource consumption and no water-intensive facilities

  • waste sorting and use of durable materials

  • vegetarian and vegan options offered in cooperation with local suppliers

  • Our goal is to ensure that nature can be experienced while being preserved.

  • collaborate with hotels, sports clubs, schools, and local organisations

  • use local suppliers whenever possible

  • support initiatives that strengthen outdoor life and community
